For scrap and recycling operations, capturing seller identification is a routine, but important, part of doing business. State and local anti-theft requirements often require recyclers to collect and maintain information from a seller’s government-issued ID. Manually entering that information takes time and creates another opportunity for data-entry errors.
With ParseLink integrated into ScrapWare, compatible ID scanners such as the CR5400 can automatically read information from a customer’s driver’s license or other supported government-issued ID and populate it directly into ScrapWare.
